About Andre Julio
Many students struggle with maths and physics not because they are incapable, but because the topic has never been explained in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to make difficult subjects feel clear, structured and less stressful.
I am a Computer Science student with a strong background in maths, physics, programming and education. I have experience teaching coding to students in groups and one-to-one, and I understand how frustrating it can feel when a subject moves too fast or the basics are not solid.
My teaching style is patient, organised and practical. I help students rebuild confidence, understand the logic behind each topic, and develop a method they can use in homework, exams and independent study. I can support Junior Cycle, Leaving Cert, first-year university students, and adults. I also teach Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish for learners who want practical communication skills.

Every lesson starts with understanding where the student is now, what they are struggling with, and what result they want to achieve. From there, I build a clear step-by-step plan focused on the student’s weak points, confidence and exam needs.
Lessons usually include a simple explanation of the topic, worked examples, guided practice, and independent questions to check real understanding. For exam students, I can use past-paper style questions, error correction and revision methods to help them understand how to approach problems more effectively.
My lessons are usually 60 minutes long and are suitable for Junior Cycle, Leaving Cert, first-year university students, and adults who need support with maths, physics, calculus, basic programming, Portuguese or Spanish. The aim is not just to memorise formulas, but to understand the logic and become more confident solving problems alone.
