About Lavanya
Hi! I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor currently studying A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I achieved strong GCSE results, including a Grade 9 in Chemistry and Grade 8s in Maths and English Language, which reflect both my academic strengths and commitment. I’ve always enjoyed helping others, and I have experience mentoring students at school, which sparked my passion for teaching. I understand how stressful exams can be, so my goal is to make learning as clear and enjoyable as possible. I want my students to feel confident in themselves and fully supported as they work towards their target grades. I believe that with the right approach and encouragement, everyone can do well in Maths and Science — and I’m here to help make that happen.

I offer one-hour personalised online lessons in Maths and Science for GCSE students of all abilities. In our first session, we will set clear goals by discussing your target grade and identifying strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I’ll create a structured, tailored revision plan to help you stay on track and confident in the lead-up to exams. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on simplifying complex topics so they’re easier to understand and apply. As an experienced mentor and current A Level science student with top GCSE grades, I understand what works and how to help you succeed.
