About Ash
I am a qualified Mathematics Teacher that has been teaching since 2011. I completed my Postgraduate Education at Edge Hill University, having previously studied a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Pharmacology from Nottingham Trent University.
I have extensive maths teaching experience, from working in secondary schools to large training providers. I have been teaching at the NHS to members of staff and international students from around the World. Whilst teaching many different students from varied industries, I have established great teaching methods to make maths enjoyable and easy to understand. I believe every student has the ability to understand complex maths and improve their skills in a very short period of time with the right support. I am extremely diligent and put a lot of effort in lesson planning to meet the needs of every student.

I provide online KS3, Functional skills level 1, Functional skills level 2, GCSE, IGCSE maths tuition for all exam boards. I offer clear explanations of mathematical theory and show worked examples, supervising the student as they practise questions themselves to ensure a full understanding. I adjust the lesson based on each individual student needs and focus on areas of the syllabus accordingly, whether that is strengthening topics which feel changing, or offering advanced questions for topics which the students want to improve in.
