About Robbie
My name is Robbie, I am a 27-year-old native English teacher, originally from the south-west of England. I have always enjoyed learning and teaching my own language - I always chose to study English-related subjects at college and university - including English Language, Journalism and Sports Journalism. I am also a keen sports writer, and have previously had my articles published in sports magazines, newspapers and even in books. I enjoy watching and playing several sports, including football, tennis, padel, cycling and athletics. I also enjoy travelling to new countries and cities, spending time with friends and family, and outdoor activities. I look forward to meeting you soon!

I always prepare and adapt lessons perfectly for each student's individual needs and objectives. From my experience, the ideal lesson time is 1 hour in most cases, however I have previously taught 30 minute lessons and 1.5 hour and 2 hour lessons as well. I began teaching English in 2018, initially to friends and colleagues at Amazon and Sparex. Since 2020, I have taught students mostly online, focusing either on conversation and work-related English, or preparation for the B2, C1 and C2 level Cambridge exams. I have experience with teaching English to students ranging from the age of 11 upto the age of 65!
