About Kate
I encourage all students to share their preferred methods of learning, to bring their own materials to class and to take part in the planning process. When it comes to learning a new language, it is always best to explore new methods of study, however each student should have a say in how they are taught - after all, it's not the teacher's class!
Not only does this work best for students, but it also keeps me on my toes as a tutor, with the opportunity to explore new avenues of learning.

With lessons ranging from 30 minutes to two hours, no two sessions are the same. Whether it's vocabulary and pronunciation, cultural awareness, listening or writing that you're looking to improve, no goal is unachievable in my classes.
I have been teaching modern foreign languages online for over a year, which along with a BA in Modern Languages has provided the perfect opportunity to meet likeminded language enthusiasts and share my passion for languages.
The most important stepping stone for any language learner is to MAKE MISTAKES, and in these judgement-free classes, you'll become more and more confident as the classes go on that eventually you'll become a pro!
