About Dina

Most piano students plateau not from lack of talent, but from lessons that focus on pieces without building the underlying skills. I teach differently.
Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for exams, returning to piano after a break, or an emerging artist developing original music — I build your ear, technique, theory, creativity and musical thinking together, so what you learn transfers into real, lasting confidence.
I offer online lessons in piano, theory, musicianship, songwriting, music production and artist development.
100+ students. 22 five-star reviews. Students have gone on to achieve ABRSM distinction marks, receive Berklee College of Music offers, and develop original music that gets heard.
My background: Berklee College of Music, Summa Cum Laude — Academic Achievement Award and Outstanding Musicianship Awards. MA in Audio Production, University of Westminster. Hollywood Music in Media Award (2022). Hollywood Independent Music Award (2023). BBC Radio featured artist. University of the Arts London lecturer. Guest lecturer in Japan.
I work with:

Dedicated beginners who want to learn properly from the start
Students preparing for Berklee College of Music auditions — repertoire, ear training, arranging, contemporary production
Exam students aiming for top marks — ABRSM, Trinity, conservatoire preparation
Adults returning to piano after a break
Singer-songwriters and emerging artists developing their own sound
Students wanting serious help with songwriting, arrangement, production and creative direction

Note: the listed rate applies to standard piano, theory and musicianship lessons. Songwriting, music production and artist development are specialist sessions priced separately based on your goals and project needs.
Online via Zoom. Limited spaces each term.

All new students begin with a free 30-minute online consultation and assessment.
I use this first session to understand your level, goals, learning style and musical personality, and to recommend the most suitable pathway for you. This is not a full lesson — it's a focused introductory session to see whether we're a good fit to work together.
Full lessons are 60 minutes, booked at the listed hourly rate. Every session is structured and goal-oriented. You leave each one with written lesson notes, integrated theory you can actually use, and a defined practice strategy for the week ahead.
Three pathways are available depending on your current level and goals:
Tier 1 – Strong Foundations
Beginner to Intermediate
Ideal for:

Dedicated beginners starting properly from day one
Students building solid technical foundations
Exam preparation — ABRSM, Trinity, and RCM
Adults returning to piano after a break

Focus includes technique and hand development, reading fluency, rhythm and coordination, core music theory, and repertoire across classical, contemporary and jazz styles.
The goal at this stage is confidence, clarity and strong musical fundamentals.
Tier 2 – Advanced Musicianship & Creative Piano
For students who already play and want to go deeper.
Ideal for:

High school and college-level music students
Multi-instrumentalists adding piano fluency
Students preparing for conservatoire or Berklee College of Music auditions
Students who want piano as a creative tool, not just repertoire practice

Focus includes functional harmony and chord systems, voicing and accompaniment, improvisation and stylistic exploration, composition and arranging foundations, and connecting theory directly to practical playing.
Tier 3 – Artist Mentorship & Original Music Development
For committed singer-songwriters, composers, producers and emerging artists.
This is an advanced, limited-capacity pathway that may include song refinement and structural feedback, production guidance, artistic direction and identity development, portfolio building, and long-term creative strategy.
This tier is for serious creatives seeking clarity, direction and measurable artistic growth.
Note: the listed rate applies to standard piano, theory and musicianship lessons. Songwriting, music production and artist development are specialist sessions priced separately based on your goals and project needs.
I work with a limited number of committed students each term to ensure depth and consistent progress.
