About Matthew
I am an experienced science tutor who has been providing private lessons to students a varying ages with A to Z Tutoring. I have extensive experience with students in grades 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10. I have an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. As a result, I can also provide excellent help with grades 11 and 12 Biology as much of my degree relied on this knowledge.

My teaching philosophy is to produce creative and individualized lesson plans for each student based on their preferred learning styles. Additionally, I like to break down complicated concepts into multiple easier components. I believe this has been an extremely successful strategy throughout my previous tutoring experiences. Finally, I aim to ensure that my students understand the why's and how's of scientific concepts/theories rather than just memorizing them so that they can be better prepared for future academic experiences.
