About ALEXANDER
I am an International Relations major at Stanford studying Spanish and economics. I have been speaking Spanish for 7 years and I have used my Spanish in numerous Latin American countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. I will not only teach you the Spanish language - I will also use this opportunity to teach you about the culture and history of the region so that you may use this new skill in a meaningful context to connect with other people.

My approach to teaching revolves entirely around the student. I teach each student differently based on their strong suits, their weaknesses, and their interests. I strive to find a way for YOU to connect with Latin America and the language of Spanish in a way that means something to you. I will, of course, teach you the necessary grammar structures and common vocabulary that you might need and could use anywhere. After that, we will move on to tackling the areas that you are interested in (such as sports, music, art, dance, or whatever you can come up with) because you can only ask for directions to the restroom or recite the colors of the rainbow so many times before it gets old.
