About Simal
I have been teaching English online since October 2019. I have taught both adults and children and helped them improve a variety of things. I can empathise with language learners; I am currently learning to speak French and participate in numerous language exchanges where I help people improve their English in return for help with my French.
I have worked as a teacher in a school which had a significant proportion of students who spoke English as a additional language, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping them to improve their English and seeing their progress over time.

I tailor my lessons to student needs and like to take a holistic approach, ensuring there is a variety of speaking, listening, reading and writing. I can help with specific aspects of language such as grammar, academic writing, idioms or Business English to name a few.
I am TEFL certified and have been teaching online since September on a variety of platforms. I like to use a mixture of exercises and authentic materials (videos and articles) to teach my students.
