About Amy
Hi! I'm Amy. I've just completed my first year studying Nutrition Exercise and Health at Plymouth University.
Science has been my strongest subject throughout my academic life, but at school and college I struggled a lot with exam stress. Although incredibly common in students, it undeniably zaps the enjoyment from learning. I think this is why I am so passionate about inspiring curiosity and interest in science, which can hopefully provide an alternative to exam stress and anxiety.
Aside from studies, I love sport and fitness, travelling and getting outside.

Every student has a unique way of learning that works for them, so my lessons follow a flexible format, adaptable to suit individual needs. I also help students who have not yet found their learning style to explore the variety of methods that are out there!
In general, my lessons consist of revising relevant material and practising exam questions to boost my student's confidence as they work towards their GCSEs and A Levels. Most importantly, I try to make sessions as engaging and fun as possible, as there is no better way to learn!
