About Bethany
I am 24 years old and I wanted to get into teaching support to support and inspire those pupils who struggle at school and struggle to have a high amount of self-confidence.
My lessons use a variety of support materials such as visual aids to ensure that lessons can be accessed by all pupils in my classroom. I also think it is very important that the emotional well-being of my pupils is looked after and every tutoring session will start with a well-being activity.

My tutoring sessions will run for 1 hour, and part of these sessions will always contain a recap of the lesson before. It is important to me as a teacher that my sessions start with a 'fun' 10-minute check-in with pupils to ensure they are ready to learn.
My sessions will follow a pupil-focused method, they will be interactive activities which will be modelled by myself and use a large variety of visual support strategies to encourage pupil engagement.
I currently work in a secondary school so my lessons can cater from KS2 to KS4.
