About Joel
Joel is a 17 year old pianist, violinist and composer who has recently been offered a place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland next year. He currently studies at RCS juniors with concert pianist Sasa Donaldson and has more than 10 years of experience from an accolade of international competitions which he has competed in and won. He also loves performing in chamber groups and orchestras where has works closely with other musicians. Along side performing he also teaches piano and has a successful student who has entered the Edinburgh Competition Festival.
He also studied composition with composer Tom Wilson. Joel has performed his compositions in the queens hall etc.
In terms of music theory, Joel has studied music theory and history for more than 10 years and completed grade 5 theory with a distinction.

Joel teaches music theory to kids who are just starting out, to high school kids and adults at any beginning/ moderate stage.
He will help you to pass theory piano exams (e.g. ABRSM grade 5 theory) grade 1 to grade 8, and can also teach you basic theory, music history, music reading and music composition.
Providing the upmost quality but always keeping it fun and engaging in lessons.
