About Erin
I am an educator with a background in supporting neurodiverse students.
My experience includes working as a classroom teacher in Simcoe County teaching elementary students in literacy and French.
I have also been working as an autism spectrum Educator and Learning Strategist for over 10 years.
I focus on supporting neurodiverse children and youth, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD Level 1/Asperger Syndrome)
- Dyslexia & Dysgraphia
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Communication or Sensory Processing Disorders
I provide learning support for neurodiverse children and youth of all ages including those in elementary, high school and college/university education.

My lessons focus on supporting neurodiverse students.
With individually-tailored lessons, students learn to work towards independence while gaining self-advocacy skills and building confidence.
I provide inclusive, supportive and strength-based instruction.
I believe in positive encouragement, listening to student needs and providing coaching, mentorship and developmental feedback to bring out the best in students.
Lessons Areas:
• Focus on teaching social skills, communication skills, and social emotional learning.
• Focus on executive functioning and learning strategies, to build skills in planning for assignments, exams and improving test-taking abilities.
• Providing tutoring and learning support with literacy or French language studies for elementary students.
I am available to support students who are in elementary, high school, or post-secondary education.
How It Works:
1. Determine a goal area to focus on.
2. Set up weekly sessions designed to learn skills in the goal area. During the sessions, we will outline the goal, organize a plan, and review strategies, tools and resources to work on the targeted skill.
3. Check in weekly and review progress on a regular basis.
Virtual lessons are available via Zoom or in person in Tiny Township and the Midland/Penetanguishene area.
My passion is to provide services and resources for neurodiverse youth so they can build confidence, develop new skills and feel prepared to tackle their goals!
