About Andrew
I have been working as a dispensing optician for almost 30 years, and for most of this time I have tutored The Association of British Dispensing Opticians' diploma course by remote learning. Alongside this I provide Maths tuition, either face to face or online. I have a passion for education, and love Maths itself and its application to logic puzzles and similar. I am extremely patient and very approachable. I am currently pushing myself through my own education challenge, as I attempt to learn German.

So many people are terrified of maths, because of previous bad experiences, or because they find the subject dry and boring. I love to turn every maths problem into a game, or a story. I'm always looking for the spark that will ignite a student's passion for the subject.
