About Caoimhe
Hello, guys! My name is Caoimhe. The spelling is crazy, but the pronunciation is very simple- Caoimhe. I am a native English teacher from the North of Ireland, but I am currently teaching English at a university in Seoul, South Korea. I want to help you have fun learning English, become more confident, and achieve your language learning goals!
I have been teaching learners of all ages and levels both online and offline for the last 7 years in Korea. I also have experience teaching students from China, Brazil, Spain, Syria, Mexico, France, and Japan. Right now, I work as an English professor at Korea’s only online language university. I teach classes in grammar, conversation, and pronunciation, and I also train graduate school students to become teachers. In my free time, I also teach business English and prepare individuals for job interviews at global companies like Google. In addition to my thousands of hours of teaching experience, I have a Masters in Linguistics and a Cambridge CELTA certificate in teaching English to adult learners. These help me to be the best teacher I can be.
Learning a language can be scary. I’m currently studying Korean, so I understand the fear and the challenges. That’s why I always create a safe learning environment that is comfortable and relaxed, where my students don’t get nervous about making mistakes or being misunderstood. I love language, and I love teaching. My students tell me that they feel that passion from me and that it motivates them to try hard. I am patient and understanding, and my lessons are a lot of fun. I guarantee that you will be smiling while learning.
