About Roxanne

I love tutoring full-time. Sharing my passion for both language and literature and inspiring others is a joy. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked in both mainstream and special needs schools. I have been department head and I am an examiner for the GCSE English exam board AQA. As well as working with gifted and talented students, I have also worked with students with a variety of learning needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy and dyslexia helping them to access the curriculum and make progress. My mission is to provide high-quality tuition to support your child's learning, ensure they make rapid progress and help them secure the highest possible grades. Since 2022, I've moved to teaching online. I miss the classroom but love the flexibility that online teaching provides. I tend to work with around 35 tutees at any one time; this means that I'm able to dedicate myself to their progress in a way that simply wasn't possible when I was a classroom teacher. All of my lessons are specifically tailored for the individual and I am able to provide detailed feedback on every piece of work my students create.
