About Vimla
I have a passion for explaining math in a way that is easy to understand. I have been tutoring middle school, high school, and college math for about 10 years. I have completed MSc Math. When tutoring I aim to not only strengthen math skills but to build confidence as well, helping students to succeed long after tutoring.
The knowledge I have gained through college coursework has given me the skill set to tutor math. My teaching experience gives me the ability to be an exceptional tutor.I also tutor and run summer camps to help students succeed on the PSAT (Math), SAT (Math) and ACT (Math) tests, including helping some students score a perfect score and achieving National Merit Status. I look forward to helping you understand math and science !

I am committed in providing my students the best resources to learn from and a teaching style that fits their taste. I strive to create and maintain an environment where the student can freely interact with me and have the freedom of thought and speech during class and after.
I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my family. I'm looking forward to meeting all of my students and working with them through this site. I had to remake this profile but I've been on teacheron since the past two years. It has been a pleasant journey. With online teaching the child gets the exact same benefits as home tutoring as I give them a one on one session and use white boards/ screen sharing and other tech to facilitate learning.

She was a kind person who adapted her individual teaching style to my situation very well and taught me a two year syllabus in 6 months very successfully. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who asked for maths gcse
She is one of the most well versed teachers I have come across in my entire high schooling life. I wouldn't have been able to get the score I got on GCSE MATHS if it wasn't for her. She makes the toughest concepts easy to understand and goes above and beyond the curriculum to make sure I understand the concepts, yet manages to always finish portion before my school does.
