About Shannon
From 2004-2006 I lived in a remote village in Spain where I taught English. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science at George Mason University in the Washington DC area. In 2009 I taught Spanish at a prominent French school in Cape Town, South Africa.Upon returning to the US, I worked at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital as a medical translator and interpreter. I have taught Spanish to individuals and professionals of all ages and levels. I am passionate about cultural exchange and instilling confidence in my students to have a strong command of the Spanish language.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching, interpreting, custom tailoring lessons to fit the needs of students and clients. I lived in Spaina remote village in Spain for two years where I gained a reading, writing and speaking fluency in the Spanish language. I created a 12 week course that I implemented at a French school in South Africa teaching Spanish. I have created crash courses in Spanish for medical professionals, entire office personnel and construction companies. I would love to help you gain a passion and fluency for the Spanish language.
