About James
Hi! I'm James, currently an 2nd year undergraduate at the University of Cambridge studying Psychological and Behavioural Sciences (PBS). Last year, I ranked 2nd in my class, so have expert knowledge of the subject and Cambridge. Only a couple of years ago, I was a student just like you, thinking of Oxbridge and other elite university applications, so I can clearly remember all the trials and tribulations, questions and uncertainties of applying. Having successfully navigated this process and learnt a lot on the way, I am likely able to enhance applications beyond the support provided in most schools. I have also tutored successful Oxbridge applicants in the past through the Zero Gravity charity. I would also like to think I am friendly and approachable, so sessions should be pretty enjoyable!

As a current undergraduate student at the University of Cambridge, I know exactly what it is like to apply to some of the best universities in the world. Launching such an application can be daunting or challenging, and it is often hard to know the right approach. Therefore, I can offer assistance and unique insights along the route from initially preparing extra/supercurriculars and other activities to bolster the personal statement; writing the statement itself; and interview preparation (to differing levels of specificity depending on your subject). I can also offer general advice and unique insider knowledge regarding factors such as which college may be best for you, or essentially any other questions you have. As I am studying Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, I can provide the most expert advice in this and related areas, but can provide useful insights for most subjects. Sessions can be one-off or repeat and will typically last one hour, although I am flexible. These are primarily aimed at those in Year 12 and early Year 13. Feel free to ask any questions, and I am sure I can tailor our session to suit your requirements!
