About Poppy
Hello!,
My name is Poppy, and I've recently graduated from Balliol College, Oxford with a first in English. I did the IB at Cheltenham Ladies' College and was awarded top marks (45/45), with all A*'s at GCSE, and I want to bring my knowledge and friendly encouragement to someone in need of a bit of help at any school level! I have some experience tutoring at GCSE level and advising Oxbridge applicants with English, and I can confidently offer my expertise in English in particular, alongside other humanities/languages, French and History in particular. Having been an anxious GCSE student, and then university applicant, I know how daunting exams and applications can be; at those times pupils really need someone patient and passionate about their subject to guide them to success.
