About Emilia
Having graduated secondary school in Brussels in 2020, I'm currently 19 years old and in my second year of my undergraduate Biomedical Sciences course at Oxford. I lived in many different countries while growing up, and I'm a native German and English speaker, so I am used to working with people with diverse backgrounds and native languages and enjoy doing so.

I have many years of experience in tutoring, ranging over numerous age groups, several languages, and various subjects. This experience has allowed me to gain a valuable skill set that allows me to quickly adapt to the type of teaching a student responds to best, and vary this depending on their personality, previous knowledge and learning style. I believe it is crucial to take an individualistic approach and discover with every student anew the manner in which they get the most out of sessions.
My studies at the University of Oxford have given me the qualifications required to teach Biology at any level from young kids just starting the subject to A Level, while also increasing my own personal passion for the topic, which I try to share with students as much as possible!
I prefer a lesson duration of around 45 min to 1h, but I'm quite flexible depending on your preference.
