About Charlotte
Hello! I am a fourth year Classics undergraduate at Oxford University who has tutored family and friends for the past 2 years. I have A levels in Latin, Ancient Greek and English Literature, and hold a diploma on the Oboe. I can cover a wide range of texts, both ancient and modern, and have had rigorous linguistic teaching at uni.

I create personalised lesson plans based on a student's needs and capabilities, using a range of textbooks and methodologies. For languages, I focus on grammar with weekly vocabulary tests, practice papers and extended translations which I work through with the student, focusing on areas of difficulty to ensure appropriate understanding. Typical lesson lengths would be 30 minutes - 1 hour.
I have worked previously as an academic tutor for younger pupils at my school in Years 10-12, predominantly in Latin language. I also have experience working with children up to Year 6 during my time in childcare on my gap year. I have A*s in Latin and English Literature and an A in Ancient Greek at A level.
My lessons are for children preparing for the 11+in English and for up to GCSE students in English Language, English Literature, Latin and Ancient Greek.
