About Simon
With my education, subject knowledge and professional experience (FT, BBC, Independent, Evening Standard), I am skilled at gauging how each student can progress and meet their goals.
My passion for English Language and Literature inspires my students to appreciate the subject in a new way; I excel at explaining things to them that were previously unclear and I have many enthusiastic and grateful testimonials (see below).
Sessions with me are informal, relaxed but effective. I am patient and attentive; I am also proficient in communicating expert knowledge of English Language and Literature as evidenced with the A Grade GCSE success of my students.
I draw upon years of journalistic and editing experience within the Media to deliver insightful, relevant and efficient teaching that produces tangible results for my students.
