I have studied Geography from GCSE to the undergraduate level and I am confident that I can assist in both improving grades and preparation for a university degree. I have previously tutored a student during his GCSEs and brought his grade up two levels to an A in only a few months.

I focus my teaching in developing the skills behind writing strong essay answers and developing the critical thinking necessary to succeed in this subject. All essay subjects require a strong form of structure, and Geography is no exception. Thus, in my lessons I will carefully disassemble essay answers and rebuild them with the student, explaining step by step what makes a great answer. Following this, continued practice and revision of these techniques will absolutely improve performance in all essay subjects, not just limited to Geography.
