About Kiya
I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, with a BA in History and English. I have been a private tutor (on and off) since sixth form. I am successful in encouraging students' enthusiasm of and interest in a subject, as well as boosting their academic attainment.

My method involves ensuring that students learn in a way which is understandable and relatable to them. I think that enjoyment of a subject is a key part of academic achievement, especially at higher levels, and hope to inspire enthusiasm in my students.
I am very friendly, patient, and sympathetic - I remember how stressful GCSEs and A-Levels were, and it is my own experience of this which informs how I tutor all of my students.
As well as content, I make sure that students know exactly what examiners are looking for, and help them by breaking down materials such as mark schemes and examiners' reports into an accessible format.
I give lessons to students of all ages, but am particularly experienced with GCSE and A-Level students. I also offer university admissions help.
