About Clare
Hello! My name is Clare, I'm 21, and I am a student at Cambridge University in 'Criticism and Culture' (having just finished my BA at Oxford in English Literature).
When I was 18, I worked with my school's Year 7 students for a year - so I know that I enjoy teaching, and that I make fun lesson plans!
I was also my college welfare officer, so I am used to helping students through difficulties and frustrations in a safe and confidential way. I can be a friendly face and non-judgemental ear if you have any worries or questions.
Outside University, I love running, swimming, and walking my dog, Teddy. I also love cooking, crochet, and visiting art exhibitions.

I hope to give my students the confidence to defend their ideas fluently and persuasively, and work critically with material.
From within a comfortable learning space, students will be able to track their progress over time, and meet their individual learning goals. I can adapt to learning-related disabilities such as dyslexia or ADHD.
I am more than happy to bring in different media into my lessons - calling upon relevant source material to broaden the experience and understanding of History.
I can offer one-on-one online lessons ranging between 45 and 90 minutes on weekdays between 9am and 7pm.
