Oxford graduate as a specialist teacher of Maths for academic support?
You've come to the right place!
My name is Yusuf Ahmed and I know what you're thinking - How can I claim to be an experienced tutor if I'm only 22 years old. Well, I have been tutoring Maths ever since I turned 16 and was able to work. Since then, I have taught and supported countless students in their academia, not to mention having a proven track record for pushing pupils to exceed their targets.
Whether in need of private, personalised lessons on anything Maths related from KS1 to KS4, including 11+ Entrance Exam support, I can guarantee you that after a few Maths sessions with me as the tutor, you'll begin to see how enjoyable (and easy) Maths can be!

In my tutoring sessions, I prioritise creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore challenging concepts. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student, ensuring that we build a strong foundation and work at a pace that is comfortable yet challenging.
I use a variety of teaching methods including interactive activities, problem-solving exercises, and technology tools such as Desmos and GeoGebra, which help students visualise complex ideas and stay engaged. My focus is not only on improving academic performance but also on fostering a growth mindset, where students develop the confidence to tackle problems independently and view mistakes as opportunities for learning.
That being said, there is no such thing has a silly question in my classes!

Prices may vary depending on availability and age group. Customers who are willing to pay for lessons in advance will also be able to receive a price which works out to be lower than the standard rate.
In order to give parents the chance to see if my classes are worth their money and students time, the first 30 minutes will be free, meaning you receive the first hour lesson at half price!
