About Taslima
As a Student Ambassador with Oxford’s Undergraduate Admissions Office, I have worked on online Q&A panels, UCAS events and open days. I have also worked as both a Student Ambassador and Site Manager on various residentials including Opportunity Oxford, Target Oxbridge and UNIQ. I also have teaching experience as I was both a teaching assistant and substitute teacher for a Classics Summer School in the Cheney School in Oxford. I have taught lessons and responded to the needs of students in a classroom setting. Finally, I have also volunteered as an English teacher abroad in rural Thailand, therefore broadening my classroom experience and teaching skills.

I have recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. I have tutored English, Philosophy and Religious Studies privately for the past 2 years and am a native English speaker. Specifically for English, I have tutored 6 students across GCSE, (AQA) IGCSE (Edexcel) and A-Level English Literature (AQA). All of my students have had a 100% pass rate. I also have experience working with students with SEND, including ADHD, autism and Down’s syndrome. I am very patient and passionate about education and would be very happy to accommodate any requests. Prior to attending Oxford, I received A*A*A* in my A-Levels (English Literature, Religious Studies and Latin) and have 5 A*s, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in my GCSEs. I have a lot of experience working with young people through my access and outreach work as a student ambassador whilst at Oxford. I am DBS checked and can work flexible hours and can start immediately.
