About Noah
I'm halfway through a History master's at the University of Oxford. I am happy to help with exam technique, material catch-up, essay support and holiday stretch work. I can also support independent academic projects. I hold a first class BA from Bristol, and previous tutoring has seen excellent improvement in marks. Also taught English and provided pastoral care at boarding school in Russia.

My particular speciality is exam technique: I help a student to break down their essay and paragraph structure into its constituent parts, and work on maximising the value of every sentence. My students learn to connect this with exactly what the mark scheme demands of them - which sees improvements in results by as much as 4 grade boundaries. Nevertheless before designing a tutoring plan I take a one hour session with the student to go through their individual requirements, whether they be course material, timing, coursework or exams and tailor my methods to their needs.
