About Monica
I am a medical student in my 2nd year at Jesus College, Oxford. I have been tutoring for 4 years now and I love helping people grow in confidence and achieve their goals! Whether you're aiming to score in the top 2% of a university admissions test, get into your local grammar school or pass your GCSEs, I tailor my teaching to focus on what's right for you.
I am a bubbly person who likes a challenge, and outside of my degree, I love singing in a chapel choir, playing hockey and reading about art and theology.

Lessons are online for 1-1.5 hours, fortnightly, weekly or bi-weekly, and teaching style is dependent on the student and level of study, but can be adapted on request. I set homework to all my students unless otherwise requested before starting lessons.
- 11+ students: guided discussions and working through questions to grow familiarity with the exam's style and techniques.
- GCSE: lessons are structured around the specification, using active recall and teaching revision techniques.
- A level: Oxbridge tutorial-style approach structured around the specification, alongside practice questions for consolidation.
- University admissions coaching: supercurricular support, university choice advice, personal statement advice and proofreading, admissions test advice and technique coaching, mock interviews.
I have been tutoring students aged 11-18 for 4 years. I applied and received all 4 offers to study Medicine at Oxford, UCL, King's College London and St Andrew's. My lessons aim to be stimulating, interesting and just the right amount of challenging, whilst keeping a firm foothold in the requirements and specification of the exam to be sat.
