About Molly
I am in my fourth year of Oxford Medical school, and have offered mock interviews to students at my school in person and online, who are looking to study medicine and/or aspiring to Oxbridge. I have also run personal statement workshops. Multiple students I have worked with have received Medicine offers, from universities such as Oxford, Imperial, Bristol and Queen Mary's.
In my third year I did an intercalation, specialising with a research focus in Neurology and Immunology. I absolutely love these subjects, and possible hope to work as a consultant neurologist in the future!
At University I enjoy getting involved in various sports and socials. I am the President of Oxford Friends of MSF society, so am extensively involved in raising awareness and funds for the charity. I also work as an Outreach Ambassador, touring students from state schools around the college. I was also Charities Officer of Exeter College Oxford’s Undergraduate Student body.
I went to a state school, so felt relatively alone during A-level preparation, and in the daunting application process to both Medicine and Oxford. However, through this I learned many ways to succeed, and would like to share these with others!
I have loved helping at my sixth form, and this has given me a wealth of experience working with students while enabling me to collate lots of resources of past interview questions.

I can offer various online lessons, including:
--Interview tuition, for MMIs, generic Medical interviews, or Oxbridge-specific
-Mock Interviews in any of the above
-Personal statement draft and medical school application advice
Typically for interview preparation I use the following structure, to ensure all aspects of a potential interview are covered:
1. Your interest in medicine, extracurriculars, personal statement specific questions
2. Science-based questions (of greater weight for Oxbridge preparation)
3. Ethical questions and discussion
After this is covered, if students find it useful, we can do a mock interview, in which we will go through feedback after.
I have used this structure for the past 3 years to help students applying to medicine at my sixth form, running "Oxbridge mocks" and "Medicine mocks" programmes, so am comfortable and experienced in doing this.
If personal statement advice is required, we can begin to construct your ideas together or read over a draft and my feedback together, depending what stage you are at. I am experienced in this field after writing my own personal statement, from which I received offers from all medical schools I applied to. Additionally, I have run two-day personal statement workshops at my sixth form, and given online advice to several students on their drafts in the run-up to the UCAS deadline.
