About Poppy
I am a first-year undergraduate studying at the University of Oxford. Going into the applications process, I never expected to receive 5/5 offers or achieve the LNAT score that I did. However, looking back, I can recognise the methods and tips that I used to get to this point, and this is something I would love to share with students. Going into the LNAT exam with the confidence that comes from practice ensures that you have the presence of mind to tackle tricky questions, and one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is helping students grow that academic confidence.

My tutoring style is both focused and supportive - with recent first-hand experience of the LNAT and Oxbridge admissions process, I understand how daunting it can feel. I aim to break down LNAT questions to help students spot the patterns and question styles that will come up in the exam, enabling them to feel confident when in exam conditions. I also provide detailed feedback on essays and advice on structuring a convincing argument under time pressure. Students find my exemplar essays particular useful when preparing for the essay portion. I truly believe that succeeding at the LNAT is a matter of effective and targeted practice, and that is what I can support students with to help them achieve the highest scores.

Perfect! Poppy has been absolutely wonderful for our LNAT preparation for Oxford Law. From the very first session it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. She set out clear goals from the start, which gave a real sense of direction and made the whole process feel manageable rather than overwhelming.
What has stood out most is how well structured the sessions are. The timed practice exercises have been really valuable. Going into the exam having already worked under that kind of pressure meant there were no surprises on the day.
The feedback is always specific and useful, and the assignments Poppy sets between sessions keep things moving. She is genuinely available when there are questions and has been completely transparent and reliable throughout. You always know where you stand with her.
We are really pleased with the progress made and would not hesitate to recommend Poppy to anyone preparing for the LNAT.Perfect! Poppy was excellent at helping with lnat practise and UCAS.
