David is a unique and compassionate teacher. He approaches critical issues in (especially English) literature with novelty and insight, and encouraged me to do the same. His lessons are never lacking in excitement, but at the same time, the content we cover is rigorous. I trust his experience, as well as the obvious delight in his profession.
