About Sophia
I am an undergraduate student reading Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. I have experience teaching reading at primary school level, and I am keen to engage with students up to GCSE level. Essay writing is foundational to my degree, and I achieved the highest possible grade at English Pre-U (1st Distinction). I am eager to inspire others with the passion that I have for literature, reading, and writing.

The primary aim in my teaching is to encourage love of reading and writing in students, as well as improving interpretation skills and quality of written communication. Though teaching will depend on the individual requirements of the student, exam preparation is taught based on past examples of questions, approached together in order to demonstrate the best techniques for essay answers.
