About Joe
I have recently finished my Master's Project in Chemistry at the University of Oxford, which involved synthesis of supramolecularly encapsulated polyynes. Before this year of research I completed three years of study in Chemistry covering a range of topics in Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry with assessment through examination at the end of each year, alongside a taught practical course. Three years of exposure to the tutorial system at Oxford University have developed many problem solving skills that can be used to approach many different scenarios.
Originally from the North East of England, I studied Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry at A-Level and was the first student to be admitted to Oxford from my school.

Able to run through problems that student are facing difficulty with and can explain topics and concepts if students are unsure. Would ask that students have an idea of what areas they specifically want to learn about and inform me of this such they can benefit most from the class. More than happy to run through problem sheets that students have attempted before a class.
