About Megan
Hi, my name is Megan and I'm in my 5th year of studying medicine at Oxford University. I went to state school and my experience there, compared to the teaching structure I have received at Oxford, really proved to me how much of an impact your teachers have on your learning. I feel passionately that students deserve a teacher that is really invested in their learning - I will be as committed as you are to achieving your goals!

For me, it's important that we get to know each other and feel comfortable with one another, so that you as a student can be honest about what's working for you. I want to know how you learn best so I can employ that in our sessions, for example if you learn by copying out diagrams I could prepare for that. Based on this, I would say my teaching sessions are varied, but I do think working through practice papers/questions is the best way we can prepare for exams together.
I can offer tutorials in GCSE maths and science, which would normally last 45mins to an hour, but this can be flexible if you need. I would be aiming these lessons at years 9, 10, 11, however, I could adapt for younger students if interested. I have tutored students from high school up to university level with multiple years of experience and an interest in teaching in the future!
