About Laura
I recently graduated with a BA Music from the University of Oxford, and have an ARSM diploma on the cello. I have a deep passion for music and cello playing, having attended Chetham's School of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland juniors. I also have a lot of orchestra experience, participating in many orchestras over the years including the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, and the National Youth String Orchestra. During my time at Oxford, I also toured with the Oxford University Orchestra around Italy, and was a choral scholar at St Peter's college! I'm eager to support budding musicians, so I would love to hear from you!

I have a very flexible approach to teaching; lessons can be more student-led if they have something in mind they wish to work on, or led fully by myself based on the student's preference! I have experience tutoring beginner and advanced cello, and am passionate about supporting musicians of any age/level! Lesson lengths are flexible, ranging from 30 minutes to 1hr+. I can teach music theory, so lessons accessible to those with absolutely no experience!
