About Flynn
I am currently studying English literature at Oxford University, but have studied Theology, Religious Studies, History of Art, Latin, Geography and can teach those comfortably to a Philosophy to A-Level/ Pre-U level.
I have tutored since I was in my mid-teens, for both family friends and agencies.

I am mainly geared towards students aged up to 19. In terms of teaching style, I favour a fluid approach rooted in an open discussion of ideas, rather than a more prescriptive spoon-feeding of material. That being said, it is still crucial to cover the core material required for each given task!
Structurally, my lessons vary depending on the aims of the student(s), but typically I like to break them up into as may different activities as is most effective. This will include the introduction of new material at the start of each lesson, which we later return to with a fun test at the end.
Overall, I prioritise making sure my student(s) feels reassured of their progress.

He’s an incredible teacher - patient, informed and extremely well endowed. Also he didn’t mention about the huge mole on my face, not even once, which was really kind of him. It’s huge and looks a bit like a hairy cuttlefish, with all the tentacles. That was really cool of him. And he only charged me £700 for the day!
