About Amelia
I am a current Oxford University student studying Theology and Religion in my final year, and have been tutoring throughout my degree and during my A Levels. I also have a variety of experience working with children of all ages in not just an academic sphere but in sport and theatre as well, giving me a diverse range of skills to help tailor lessons specifically to my pupils’ learning styles and interests. I aim to ensure not only progress but enjoyment since I have always had a passion for learning and academics and strive to pass this on to my pupils.

My teaching method is very flexible as I like to establish a relationship with my pupils that enables me to best understand their working pattern so they can get the most out of their lessons. In order to establish this, I use a diverse range of methods in my first lessons, including but not limited to practical example questions, worked examples, videos, creative responses and games (depending on age and subject content). From these first sessions, through discussion and observation of what works best for the student, I will adapt my lesson plans to best fit their learning style to keep the lessons engaging, productive and enjoyable.
