About Violet
An avid follower of philosophy, theology and literature, I am keen to keep students up to date on current affairs and events within their relevant field and beyond. I look to enthuse and inspire by aiding students in acquiring knowledge that will enhance their understanding of the curriculum and enable them to flourish in written and verbal examinations alike. I encourage students to pursue their interests and find ways of interlinking topics and subtopics across subjects to ensure that a synoptic learning experience is had, and that the student is able to see how each aspect of a course is relevant beyond examinations. I completed my A Levels with over 95% in each of my 5 subjects. I then completed a 3 year degree in Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford, and spent a year teaching English as a foreign language in South America before embarking on the GDL (Law conversion) and the BPTC (barrister's training course). I specialise in English Literature, Philosophy and Theology up to an A Level standard but am also able to tutor in elementary Spanish. I am happy to arrange times not advertised on my calendar.
