About Mattia
I have over 15 years of experience as a professional violinist, and have performed with symphony orchestras and ensembles in North America and Europe. I hold a Doctorate degree in music and I have always believed in music education as a medium for personal and social growth. My teachers have been valuable mentors not only because they were skillful violinists, but because they were great musicians. And if they were great musicians, it's because they have always been wonderful persons. This is the role model I had, and the one I aim to be for my students.

I have been successfully teaching students of all levels and backgrounds, and I tend to adjust my method to the needs and ambition of each student. Instrumental technique should always serve musicality, so I like to propose a balanced mix of technical instruction and repertoire. Working for many different institutions such as public and private schools, colleges and universities has shaped me as an eclectic and attentive pedagogue.
