About Luca
I am a professional guitar player and composer with more than five years of experience in guitar, music theory and music production private education; I graduated in 2019 with first class honours in Creative Musicianship at the University of East London (ICMP). I have been playing guitar for 18 years and I had the luck to study with renowned musicians as Marino De Angeli, Andy Sapphir and Pete Roth. I am currently working as a session guitarist for function bands (Inversions, 29 Fingers) and for original artists all over the country, as well as composing music for advertising and trailers for international campaigns. I worked with: Erika Footman (Mika, Skunk Anansie, Zucchero), Hayley Cramer (Pop Evil), Scott Miller (The Hit House - Hollywood Trailers), du0 (LA Music Award winner).

I offer private lessons to students of every age and experience, from beginner to advanced. I believe it is truly important for a tutor to adapt to every student, as we all have different ways of learning. Every lesson will be diverse but I will make sure to include some theoretical knowledge, as I believe it really facilitates the learning process. The genres we will explore during the tuitions include pop, rock, funk and jazz; I will ensure to approach with every student the majority of modern guitar techniques, taking into consideration personal taste.

Luca is genuinely an amazing teacher. Every lesson with him is both fun and challenging. He explains things slowly enough for me to understand but I never feel stuck as, somehow, he always manages to make me understand musical concepts. My music theory knowledge has considerably improved since he's been teaching me. His positivity as well as his commitment motivate me to learn and practice. I totally recommend !
