About Jessica
Hello! I'm Jessica Mahlangu, a passionate and dedicated English tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (BEd) from the University of Pretoria. I specialize in teaching English Home Language (HL) and First Additional Language (FAL) to students in grades 7-12. With over a year of teaching experience in both the Senior and FET phases, I am committed to helping students improve their language skills and build their confidence in English. I take a personalized approach to tutoring, focusing on each student's unique learning needs. Whether you're struggling with grammar, writing, literature analysis, or preparing for exams, I will work with you to develop a customized plan that targets your specific areas of improvement. I adapt my approach based on each student’s level and progress, ensuring they not only understand the material but also feel confident in applying their knowledge.
What sets me apart is my ability to integrate a personalized teaching plan for each student, addressing specific strengths and areas for improvement. I am committed to helping students build a strong foundation in English, whether it's through grammar, writing skills, literature analysis, or conversational practice.
Languages: I am proficient in both English Home Language (HL) and First Additional Language (FAL) and can teach these subjects to students of various linguistic backgrounds.
