About Léa
My name is Léa, I am 34 and I live in Sydney (eastern coast). I was born and raised near Paris. In France, I am a State civil servant working as an Administrative Officer.
I have always been passionate about the French language, its richness, and all its cultural aspects. In my teaching, the cultural dimension is just as important as grammar, it is an essential part of learning and understanding the language.
I love exploring the world, meeting new people, and diving into different cultures. I truly believe that languages open our minds, which is why sharing the languages I speak through teaching is such a joy.

I had the opportunity to work at the Alliance Française. It taught me the importance of a lively, interactive, and culturally grounded learning environment. I use a learner-centered teaching approach based on:
- Encouraging real-life communication tasks;
- Linguistic and cultural immersion;
- Fostering autonomy and meaningful exchanges.
I also have experience teaching at the university level, where I delivered courses, supervised groups of students, and guided them in their academic and professional development. This gave me a solid foundation in pedagogy and both written and oral communication.
