About Aurna
I am a Bioengineering student at Imperial College London and am currently doing a Masters. I have had experience tutoring up to A-Level standard and have been tutoring for three years now. I have done the linear A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology (both AQA) and Maths (Edexcel) and attained two As and an A* respectively and am familiar with the content. I also have access to revision notes and extra material which I am happy to share. I attained all A*s at GCSE and am therefore confident with the content and exam technique required to get the top grades.

I usually ask students before lessons about topics they are struggling on which allows me to find questions, notes and any extra resources needed to aid their learning. I also provide homework if I feel as though the lesson time was not sufficient to cover the material. I am happy to take tests during lessons closer to the exam season or before a school exam as this encourages independent learning at home whilst also allowing students to cover topics from chapters they have not looked at for some time. I encourage asking questions and am readily available to contact outside of lesson hours if students are struggling with schoolwork or their own revision.
When tutoring in person, I generally prefer meeting in a working environment like a library at a mutually convenient distance instead of places of residence as it helps students be more productive.
