About James
I have over 15 years of playing the guitar and learning all about it, Now I would to share my knowledge and experience with everyone happy to learn.
I spent 2 years studying music at South Devon College and achieved a BTEC National Diploma in music performance at distinction level. I also have a grade 8 from the trinity rock school grading system and an ABRSM grade 5 in music theory.
I have taught on and off for the last few years and have decided to really get back into it. Watching a student learn, develop and grow is one of the most satisfying feelings as a tutor.
I like to keep a relatively informal teaching environment and to keep the lessons fun and engaging with a good mixture of playing and theory work.
I play live regularly in a local band, we play a variety of different songs in various genres.
