About Lynda
I have three years of teaching experience, working with all ages from young learners to adults. I have helped an absolute beginner refugee to progress with her English language learning. I have also improved the confidence of young people with specific learning disabilities to overcome learning challenges.

I give lessons in a variety of different subjects including GCSE English Literature and Language, and English as a Second Language. I have experience of tutoring people with specific learning disabilities, including dyslexia and autism.
I have a student centred approach and tend to teach to the student's interests where possible. I prefer to use Socratic questioning, rather than giving the answers, to encourage independent thinking skills.
