About Maria
I am a hard-working career coach and I assist students with in identifying personal goals, developing employability skills and planning career moves. My work with clients lasts from a week to several months, depending on an individual's needs. In addition to students and recent graduates,my clients include the unemployed as well as individuals with physical disabilities (SEN). With hands-on experience in academic advisement, teaching and student support, I possess a comprehensive skill set and hands-on understanding necessary to affect positive, overreaching outcomes in this role. My work experience in Student services has provided me with extensive knowledge of the academic advising process and the challenges of student life. I possess excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills, enabling students to trust in the guidance and information that I provide.I also have an extensive experience in teaching English and Greek to young learners. I am also specialised in ASD, behaviour management and complex needs students. My relevant qualifications include my degree in English Literature and my CELTA Cambridge Certificate. I am very keen on working with young but also adult learners as teaching is more than a job for me, it's a passion!
