About Alex
I’m an earth scientist and materials science researcher with expertise in scientific data analysis, visualisation, and interpretation. My work centres on study of rocks (geology), chemistry, maths, and a bit of physics, and I also code using R and Python to tackle physical science data. I also specialise in statistical data analysis with Origin software. Over the years, I’ve blended academic rigour and practical experience by working on state-funded projects, authoring peer-reviewed papers, and providing research consultations to support project design and strategy. Beyond my research, I’m passionate about teaching and simplifying complex ideas. I use an interactive approach that encourages questions and exploration, typically offering lessons that last 30 minutes to two hours—with short breaks to keep learners focused. Whether you need help with data analysis, technical writing, literature reviews, or data visualisation, I aim to deliver clear, data-driven solutions on time.
