About Kelly
Hello! I have been passionate about helping others with their academic journey since I was in middle school. I did volunteer tutoring for several years and then continued tutoring in college and beyond. Continuing my passion of helping others on their academic journey, I became an environmental and outdoor educator, working with students in the outdoors teaching them hands-on, inquiry-based science. That has been my career focus for the last 10 years while still tutoring as well. I look forward to helping you on your academic journey!

Being a successful educator for over 20 years, I cater my lessons to the individual. I have taught inquiry based, hands-on for many years and have seen the benefits so my approach tends to be more hands-off so that the student can practice. Of course, I give guidance and teach or clarify concepts as needed, but I balance that with ensuring there is understanding so problems can be done with confidence without me present.
